Can self-stick laminate flooring be laid over old laminate flooring?
Posted by: | CommentsWe’re laying a new floor in our bathroom and I was wondering if we can lay the new self-stick laminate over the old laminate flooring that’s in there or if the old flooring should be torn up and the new flooring laid on top of the wood floor. Thanks!

Posted by: | CommentsI have a decent amount of click together laminate flooring that states it was “Made in Slovakia” on the back. The rest of the information on each plank reads D-9279 281005 305-SK 12:33. I still need a good amount however and I am looking foir more. Do you need padding for laminate flooring if there is hardwood flooring underneath?
Posted by: | CommentsI’m installing laminate flooring in my grandfather-in-law’s house.
It is not a slab foundation and already has original hardwood flooring.
He wants laminate, although I don’t know why he doesn’t want the original flooring he already has. Anyway, does he need the padding underneath since it is not going on a slab?

What has happened to my laminate flooring?
Posted by: | CommentsI laid laminate flooring in a room 7 X 4 metres two years ago.
Gradually, over the last couple of months, two boards have separated (where they join end to end) by a full centimetre and now the same thing is happening to the boards beside them.
What did I do wrong?
Should add that yes I left an expansion gap, it is click type and there has been no liquid spillages.
