How To Use Wallpaper Sizing?

wallpaper stripping

I have just stripped the old wallpaper off of my living room walls and am ready to put up new. I was told I need to first put up sizing. The sizing I bought came in a box and I have to mix it with water. After that, I am not sure how to use it. Do I let it dry first or do I have to hang the wallpaper while it’s still wet? I really have no idea what to do after I mix the stuff so any tips will help. Thanks!

When i hold the steamer on for a few seconds and start scraping off the wallpaper the thin screen of plaster underneath it bubbles up and scrapes off also how can this be.
Or how can i fix it would it be a hard job for a plasterer to fix.
If you actually read my question properly you’ll notice that i said only a few seconds for holding it on for.

Cheap house paint

How much does it cost to get the interior of a house painted? My house is about 1450 sq feet and has 3 bedrooms, I need every room painted form the kitchen to the living room-everything. I am hoping to spend like 200 dollars is this crazy? I don’t even know where to look I just want somewhere cheap.

laminate flooring

We want to install a gas fireplace in our living room. The floor is laminate wood flooring and we are concerned that the heat from the unit will warp, discolour or damage the floor either directly infront of the fireplace or anywhere in the room. Does anyone have any experience with this? The manufacturer says laminate flooring shouldnt’ be exposed to heat over 84 degrees, which obviously the fireplace would surpass. Please give us advice or share your experience. Thanks.

laminate flooring

We recently moved into a new home with laminate flooring. It’s quite obvious that the previous owners intentionally gouged the floor in parts of the living room (the home was a foreclosure) and so, to please me, the owner thought it would be a good idea to wax the entire floor. I’ve read that laminate flooring isn’t supposed to be waxed so now, how should I clean it without further damaging it?
