What is the best way to take down wallpaper?
Posted by: | CommentsI want to redo a 1/2 bathroom that I have and I would like to strip the wallpaper. I know there is a chemical you can use but it’s not the most ventilated area and I have a small child so I don’t want to use that. What are some other ways I can get it down?
I would paint over it but it is already peeling in spots and especially in the corners so I don’t think it would look good.

I am 26 weeks pregnant and we are getting ready for baby by stripping the wallpaper from the nursery-to-be and painting it. The house was built in the 70′s, I believe, and so I’m worried if I should even be IN the house while this is going on? Advice? Also, what methods would be safest and easiest for my family to use to be stripping the wall paper? Anyone know of the best paint to use? Thanks!!

There is the remnance of some hideous old wallpaper that they had stripped off the wall but didn’t get it completely off. I need to try and get as much of it off so I can paint the drywall. What color should I paint my porch?
Posted by: | CommentsI have a two story white home with black shutters and red door. It has a big wrap around porch. I would like to make the porch stand out /contrast from the house (because that is cheaper than painting the house). What colors could I paint the porch ? Any suggestions for a differnet door color too? Kind of tired of the red door althought it does look classic. Home is a 20 year old kind of country victorian style.
