Can I drop or stop the charges on my partner? For him to come back home?

By

Hey people. Me & my partner have recently went through a real tough breaking point part of our relationship. We have recently made up & I really miss him and so does our son. Basically we had to go through court. And from what the judge said, he is not allowed to contact me directly or indirectly. He is not allowed to be within half a mile of my property, if he wants to see his child he would have to go through a solicitor & his curfew is 7pm to 7am. He has no bad record in his past. This is his only first offence. But me and our son miss him dearly.. It’s been 3/4weeks since we haven’t seen each other & it’s unbearable for both of us not to see each other. So please help! Is there anyway I can release him from his bail?
One thing.. He does not abuse me. He never has he respects women and me too much. He never will hit a woman. It was a friend. Got into an arguement and accidently pushed me. (it was just to get me out of the way) But no he has not ever abused me.

You need to go to court and try and have the order dropped. If you don’t and see each other he could end up in jail and at that point you will have no say because the state will then be the ones with the charges and case against him.
As far as bail, laws vary by state with that, ask an attorney or the court.

Oh, my God Almighty! You said you and your partner had recently made up. Doesn’t he (and you) understand what NO CONTACT means? You have to be an escapee from a mental hospital to want that man back. It looks like he has some heavy domestic violence charges against him and apparently the Judge thinks this monster is capable of doing serious harm, or possible killing, you and your child.

I can guarantee that this wasn’t his first time to get violent with you; it may have been the first time someone had the good sense to call the police into the situation but it’s not his first offense.

You won’t even say it was domestic violence; you just said you went through a “real tough breaking point.” Honey, you need help and somebody needs to explain why it is NEVER a good idea to let an abuser back into your life. Today they’ll say they’re sorry, and tomorrow they may kill you. WAKE UP!
