How do I repair laminate flooring gaps?
ByWe bought a home that has laminate flooring with gaps in the boards. We figured it would be an easy replacement but quickly realized it would cost too much to replace a 900 sq ft room based only on the gaping of a few boards. The gapping is in the middle of room so its really noticeable and I have no idea how to fix this. If anybody has any idea or tips please help! Thanks in advance!

The floor must have been put down improperly, with a few of the planks not interlocking correctly, and the fools left it that way. When they are put together properly they snap together with not even a hairline between them.
The ONLY way to fix it is to disassemble the floor in the reverse order it was laid, meaning you have to figure out where they ended in laying it, and go all the way back to where the gap is and try to re-seat them, but I bet they damaged the tongues and grooves and you could not make it fit no matter what. If you are lucky you may be able to find the same flooring in a home center, and buy just one bundle to replace the damaged ones if need be. But there is no way around it, you are going to have to take up the floor piece by piece in the reverse order and put it back the same way.

They make a laminate filler that comes in a tube. You can get it at any home improvement store.

if you mean , the gap is where the boards meet, then you can tap them back into place , useing a small hammer,
if they have gaps ,where they should join, side by side
you will need to lift the floor ,and re set it
takes about a day to do .
and you will need, the tools
