Any way (other than renting a room out) I can use my house to make me cash quickly?

Im in a bit of a jam and need to raise about 2K ASAP. I know Im reaching here, but does anyone know of any way I could use my house to make me some cash. I DONT want to rent out a roomn or anything like that but I have a descent size home and yard, Could I like HOST an event or wedding or something llike that? Just looking for ideas and Yahoo answers has always been good to me, thx guys, sorry if the question is vague or desperate

When our clients are facing foreclosure, we recommend selling household items to raise money to get the home out of foreclosure. Most people easily have $2000 of stuff around the house that could be sold on ebay or craigslist and it’s a very fast way to raise money.
As for renting out your property, unless you have a special home that would be better than someone using their own back yard, I doubt many would be interested. There are also permits and additional insurance that you would need to legally do that. It would likely be more trouble that it’s worth.
