Where is a fun place to rent a house on the coast of California?

Im looking for a place to take my girlfriend and some other friends for a fun trip for a weekend. Im looking to rent a house for just 2 nights somewhere on the coast of california. Perferably in the central and north coast. Web address would be awesome!

Although it is not north or central SAN DIEGO is the best. Try less touristy areas like Del Mar, La Jolla, Cardiff By The Sea, or Pacific Beach.
