I am planning to sell my property is it the right time to sell please advice?
ByI have a terrace house freehold property in Singapore is it the right time to sell or wait for the price to go up some more.

it depends.
while generally prices have been falling, your property is freehold and if you are not in need of the liquidity, it would perhaps be more advantageous for u to hold on to it for the moment, at least until 2009.
you may want to refer to the URA website for various indices and statistics that shows property prices at URL below;
to get a sense of how the market is moving.

Release of 1st quarter 2008 real estate statistics
Prices of private residential, office, shop and industrial properties increased by 3.7%, 1.1%, 2.6% and 3.4% respectively in the 1st Quarter 2008.
Rentals of private residential, office, shop and industrial properties increased by 6.0%, 7.3%, 1.0% and 5.7% respectively in the 1st Quarter 2008.
The rates of increase in prices for all properties and the rates of increase in rentals for private residential, office and industrial properties have moderated in the 1st Quarter 2008 as compared to 4th Quarter 2007.

Read the reports with a pinch of salt, as different analysts could take the same set of data and come up with different interpretations of it.
